How Can I be sure that Tiny Toes is a secure website to order from?

There are three ways to know that Tiny Toes is a secure website:

  • The web address will change from “http” to “https” when you access your shopping cart indicating that the website is secure.

  • An issued Secure Site Seal is displayed indicating that Tinytoes.ca is a legitimate website that has passed the business validation requirements

  • A lock icon will appear in the Security Status bar of your browser. This lock icon will appear when you proceed to your shopping cart. You can click on the lock icon to view the security certificate information.

After careful consideration Tiny Toes selected Volusion to host our business website. Volusion implements state of the art encryption, having the ability to encrypt data at up to 256-bits, converting your data into virtually impenetrable code that is safe from hackers and identity thieves.
 
Tiny Toes has also gone to the expense of investing in our very own SSL certificate, which has been issued to us and is displayed on our website. This means that during the entire check-out process using a credit card, you always remain at our secure website and are NOT redirected to a shared SSL website for credit card payment processing as done by some other websites.

  • What product age range does Tiny Toes carry?

At the current moment, most products we carry are intended for newborns up to 24 months old. Several of these items actually are recommended by the manufacturer up to the age of 3 years old.

We are currently planning to expand our product age range, as well as some other specialized catagories such as educational & special needs.

What payment methods does Tiny Toes accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Email Money Transfers (EMT), and Cash for local Pick-Ups. Please select the payment type at the time of the order check out.

The Tiny Toes website is a secure website utilizing an high level encryption process to ensure that your information remains secure. If you would like to use a credit card but still feel uncomfortable with providing your information online, please email us and we can make arrangments to process your credit card directly over the phone.


Can I have my order sent as a gift directly to the recipient?

Yes we can!

Tiny Toes can either ship your purchase directly to you, or to the person it is intended to be given. Imagine their surprise when a tinytoes.ca baby gift box arrives! You can specify what you would like the gift card to say, and we will send the message along as well!


How will my order be shipped?

We have put a lot of thought into the method of shipment for our baby gifts and we have come up with a few good reasons why we ship using Canada Post for the majority of our gifts. The first reason is that if the gift is being sent directly to the recipient, they will receive your gift when they get their regular mail (so they do not have to be at home to accept it). And secondly, from our experience, new parents don't want to be interrupted by a courier service knocking at their door. Canada Post is also the most cost effective method of shipping, which means that we are able to offer the lowest possible rate of shipping. Canada Post is also quick and reliable and makes it easy to track your order!

Tiny Toes recylces all shipping boxes and we even use the occassional diaper or baby wipes box!  Inside your order will be wrapped in tissue, so that you can open and enjoy your Tiny Toes order!

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Tiny Toes has flat rate shipping charges of $10.50 plus taxes in Canada, and $17.00 to the USA (main land).  On orders with total of $150 and more, before shipping and taxes, has free shipping. 
 
As well, select items have FREE SHIPPING.  Simply look for the logo to enjoy free shipping on selected items  
Items that are designated free shipping are free because they are flat and light and are shipped regular letter mail, so there will be no tracking information, nor is letter mail insured.  In the case your letter mail shipment gets lost, Tiny Toes will not be held responsible.  If you wish to have your order sent with a tracking number let us know ahead of order so we can calculate the appropriate shipping charges.
 
There is always the option of customer pick up for those that are local to Kitchener, Ontario as well.
 
Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.


Do you ship Internationally?

We do ship to the USA.  Outside of Canada and the USA, please contact us with your special request and we can let you know what would be required.


What Taxes will I be charged?

GST/HST will be charged on all applicable products and shipping charges based on your Province or Territory. HST applicable province residents will be charged the provinces applicable HST on products that are exempt. Your initial invoice will show your total tax paid. 

All orders shipped to the U.S.A. will not be charges any taxes by Tiny Toes.


Can I track my order?

Yes! Once you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email will provide you with an order number. At any time, you can log onto your account at www.tinytoes.ca and check the status of the order. We can also provide you with the Canada Post tracking number and you can track it at http://www.canadapost.ca/.


How long will it take to receive my order?

We try very hard to ship your order either the same day or the next day depending on the time the order was placed.  We also make every effort to ensure that items are in stock and available to ship immediately but we do drop ship certain items (Sweet Kyla, Lavish Lamb and Magz-Bagz).   Once shipped, it usually takes anywhere between 2 and 5 days to reach its destination.

Sweet Kyla, Lavish Lamb and Magz-Bagz items are not kept in stock and therefore may take 1-2 weeks before they are shipped.  Once you have placed your order you can check the status on your order for a better indication as to when it will be available and shipped.


Are other shipping methods available?

Yes, should you require your order quicker than our usual method we are happy to arrange alternate shipping methods, however additional charges may apply.


What do I need to do if I would like to pick up my order?

Picking up your order is a quick and simple way to save on shipping!  When you are ready to checkout you choose the "customer pickup" option at checkout.  In picking this option you will not be charged shipping.  You will then be contacted to arrange a pick up time.  Orders are usually ready the same day!  Pickup is available in Kitchener.


What if you do not have the colour or style that I am looking for?

Tiny Toes would be happy to special order items in for you!  It is difficult to carry all of the styles that customers may be looking for, for example grobags but we are able to order any of the designs and sizes for you!  If you don't see what you are looking for on our site, just send us an email and we will see if we can get it in for you.  We can order anything from our current distributors and regularly order from Melissa & Doug, Kidcentral and Oyaco (https://oyaco.com/) so can easily get in any of their products (even ones we don't carry).  If we don't carry something you are looking for email us and we will see if we can get in the item for you!


What if I need to return an item?

If for some reason you need to return an item, we offer a 14 day return/exchange policy. If returning something, the item must be shipped back to us in their original packaging, un-worn, and all tags must be intact. Shipping charges are not refundable. Once the item is returned, we will contact you to get the details of the return, and if an exchange is necessary. All sales are final after 14 days. All products are inspected prior to packaging; however, if you find a fault with the product, please contact us right away in order to get the issue resolved quickly and easily.  Should you feel that an item is defective please contact us and we will deal with each customer on a case by case basis.  This is due to the fact that different manufacturers and distributors have different policies and you may need to deal directly with them, but either way Tiny Toes will assist you and ensure that you are happy with the product that you purchased from us.


Why should I create a customer login?

By creating a customer login account, you can view, change, and track your orders quickly and easily. It also allows you to checkout much faster as it contains your billing and shipping addresses. Another benefit is that it gives you access to monthly sales, featured items, and new products!
